Below are the translated names of 23 victims. A 24th victim remains unidentified as the death toll increased after the statement.

EN IMAGES - L'explosion a eu lieu pendant la messe, vers 10 heures, dans l'église Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul, juste à coté de la grande cathédrale. Au moins 25 personnes ont été tuées dans une explosion survenue dimanche matin dans l'église copte Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul du Caire en Égypte.

Le thème était la miséricorde, en relation avec son dernier livre, La miséricorde ou la défaite de l'enfer (Médiaspaul).
